2 LIONS, 2 TIGERS AND A JAGUAR ESCAPE FROM GERMAN ZOO

BERLIN-  Highly circulate daily Bild and other local media have reported that two lions, two tigers and a jaguar have escaped a German Zoo on Friday. The escape was caused after major flooding cuased by storms that eroded fences, allowing them to break out.

The police have urged residents living around the zoo in Luenebach to be vigilant, stay at home and report any sightings of the animals the Bild said and the report added that a bear had been shot and killed.

Local authorities did not give any more information of the recapture that is underway but a spokesperson told AFP news agency that the animals were “in their cages”.
