Johannesburg – The 2020 South African Car of the Year (COTY) competition has come and the jaguar I-Pace came out as the cream of the crop when it took the title this year.
The vehicle scored top marks in most categories and walked away with the sought after title. This is the first time in Jaguar South Africa’s history.
“I can’t say I am too surprised that the Jaguar I-Pace took the crown. It was a big favourite among the jury members during the testing days earlier in March,” said Motoring writer Janine van der Post.
“It’s an incredible car, and even more difficult to fault. In terms of its performance and technology, it’s a well-deserved winner based on international standards,” van der Post added.
