In Johannesburg the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) is currently investigating a case of a woman who was bang raped by alleged fake Joburg metro police.
According to the statement made by IPID this woman was pulled over and gang raped by fake Johannesburg Metro Police officers last week. It is alleged that this women was pulled over and gang raped in the nearby bushes, in the west Johannesburg.
According to the IPID spokesperson Moses Dlamini they haven’t had a chance to interview this victim because she is still traumatized by this incident.
JMPD spokesperson Chief Superintendent Wayne Minaar said their department is still investigating this matter. He went to say that if it happens that a person is stopped by the side of the road by people who do not look like fake police officers, they shouldn’t stop instead they have to continue driving and stop at the nearest police station or a filling station where it is safe because there are lights and cameras.
