Siphiwe Tshabalala has just become arguably the greatest free agent the PSL has ever seen, so who will sign up the Amakhosi legend?
The man who scored the famous opener of the FIFA World Cup and brought hundreds of memories to every Chiefs fan between 2007 and 2018 has just issued a huge update on his career.
At 37, speculation around his retirement has grown. He has been club-less for over three months – a factor that is destined to change soon.
Rumours have been rife around his retirement after he AmaZulu earlier this year. however, he is not done just yet.
Tshabalala issued this response at the Walter Sisulu Soccer Challenge launch on Thursday:
“I’m Siphiwe Tshabalala, I’m a current professional soccer player,” said Tshabalala.
He is still available to play, meaning he is possibly the hottest free agent in the PSL.
Tshabalala is now available to be grapped up by any DStv Premiership side.
