ANC employees postpone taking party’s top six to court

Johannesburg – ANC employees have now decided to postpone taking the party’s top leadership to court.

In leaked draft court documents, the employees accuse the top six of unlawfully expropriating UIF and medical aid funds from their salaries.

Last week, ANC employees went on strike over non-payment of salaries.

ANC admitted did not pay staff on time. In July, they were not paid at all.

The party has admitted that it has financial problems but promised to solve them.

Court papers were supposed to be filed by midday, however, the employees say they have been asked to give the collective bargaining process one last, desperate chance.
