Johannesburg – ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe said the party may have to consider retrenchments.
This as the party continues to face financial trouble and is intriguing to pay its staff.
Mabe said cutting down on employees is part of the organisation’s redesign plan.
Meanwhile, some ANC staff are on an indefinite stay away until their outstanding salaries are paid in full.
The party employees were previously told that they would be paid what’s owed to them by January 21.
Staff representative committee member, Zimasa Makata, says only some salaries were paid and the situation is becoming worse by the day.
