Johannesburg – Refilwe Mtsweni-Tsipane will not be recalled as Premier of Mpumalanga, following the election of a new top five in the province.
The Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) has held its first meeting, where it stated it does not want to destabilise government.
The PEC has also announced that embattled provincial treasurer Mandla Msibi’s duties will be performed by deputy chairperson Speedy Masilo.
That is until Msibi clears his name.
