JOHANNESBURG – President Jacob Zuma says ANC is the only political party that can lead South Africa to new heights.
Zuma was delivering his keynote address in his final gala dinner as ANC leader at the NASREC Expo Centre in Johannesburg on Friday evening.
Accompanied by his wife Thobeka Zuma, the president praised the ANC and told delegates present that the organisation has the ability to transform the fortunes of the country.
According to Zuma, if the ANC disappeared, the country will also disappear.
He emphasised that South Africa should operate under the confines of the National development fund.
Zuma also called for local and international businesses to invest more to boost economic growth in order tackle high unemployment levels.
Zuma thanked his party the ANC for giving him the opportunity to lead the country.
Among the delegates present included ANC presidential hopeful Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma and businessman Patrice Motsepe and his wife Moloi-Motsepe.
