Johannesburg – Former Bosasa executive Angelo Agrizzi has tested negative for Covid-19.
Agrizzi was taken from prison to a hospital on Thursday.
The fomer Bosasa boss will be transferred from an acute care ward, and undergo further tests and observation.
This week, Agrizzi appeared in court on fraud and corruption charges and denied bail.
The court ruled that Agrizzi’s foreign assets make him a flight risk.
Agrizzi appeared alongside ANC MP Vincent Smith.
Smith’s bail was extended to 3 December.
