ANOTHER FORD KUGA ON FIRE IN KZN

DURBAN- Another Ford Kuga went up in flames this past week, owner Sissy Mkhwanazi said: “I am not looking for fame, I want Ford to take responsibility for what is happening.”

Mkhwanazi was travelling on the N3 southbound in Durban, when suddenly her brakes weren’t working and she a heard a sudden noise, “a loud noise coming from somewhere in the vehicle and observed a dark object flying off as she applied her handbrake”, according to News24 reporter.

Ford SA responded to Wheels24, they are reported as saying, “Ford South Africa is aware of the incident involving the Ford Kuga of Sissy Mkhwanazi. We are saddened to hear about Ms Mkhwanazi’s ordeal. Ford is investigating the cause of the fire as a matter of urgency and in the interim, have provided Ms Mkhwanazi with a courtesy vehicle. We treat any such incident with the highest priority and will continue to liaise with her on the matter.”
