San Francisco- Apple is in a showdown with its  iPhone users want to sue the company for monopolising the Apple app store.

Users are complaining that Apple is blocking them from purchasing software from third-party marketplaces.

So that their users can only buy from Apple who inflate prices, Apple takes a 30% commission on all sales.

Apple said their customers cannot sue it as they’re not its direct purchasers.

The Supreme Court will rule on the matter late June, on whether or not iPhone owners can bring forward such a case.

The anti-trust lawsuit can be a can of worms, as it could lead to further litigation from consumers.
