The South African national team Bafana Bafana played against Burkina Faso in one of the Soccer World Cup qualifying matches this past Saturday 07th October 2017.

The match was played at the Johannesburg FNB stadium. Bafana Bafana won 3-1 against Burkina Faso. This is a great victory for the team and it has brought them a step closer to qualifying for the world cup.

Bafana Bafana is still at the bottom of Group D. They still have three more games to play and win to determine if they qualify or not. They have one more home game and two games away to win.

Their next home game is against Senegal. Reports say that if Bafana Bafana can put in the same effort that they did in last weekend’s game against Burkina Faso when they play against Senegal they will make it to Russia.

South Africans have praised the work of the teams goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune. He has proved once again why he is the country’s best goalkeeper.

Before the game last week, he was seen from his twitter account reassuring the country and motivating his team members.

The World Cup qualifiers third round between South Africa and Senegal will be on the 06th November 2017.
