Johannesburg- The tax fraud case against Bonang Matheba was on Tuesday morning was struck off the roll at the Johannesburg Specialised Commercial Crimes Court, after she paid an admission of guilt fine of R30,000.
Bonang was charged for not paying personal tax from 2008 – 2017 and company tax from 2014 – 2017.
During court proceedings, the state told the court that Bonang had paid the admission of guilt fine and due to this development would like the case struck of the roll.
The request was granted by the judge.

R22 000 of the paid fine was for the personal tax and the R8 000 was for company tax.
Reports have suggested that Bonang went to court on Monday, she appeared calm and relaxed.
A source quoted by TshisaLIVE said, “She came with her team and they seemed very calm. Her head was down.”
