LONDON – Brad Pitt is reportedly concerned that his upcoming custody trial with Angelina Jolie could be damaging to their children.

The Moneyball actor and his estranged wife are scheduled to spend to three weeks in court from 4 December in front of a private judge.

However according to reports, the 54-year-old actor would like to resolve their issues before the court date and spare Maddox (17), Pax (14), Zahara (13), Shiloh (12), and 10-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne the ordeal.

According to The Blast, insiders close to Pitt said the star thinks Jolie is being irresponsible with the trial. He feels they have embarrassed themselves enough since the separation, saying the children are all old enough to read the news and listen to gossip about their famous parents.

The report claims that Pitts thinks Jolie is intentionally trying to make him look bad in her bid for sole custody, while he can see no reason for them to not split care of the children equally.

The couple split in September 2016. Jolie accused Pitt of abusing their son Maddox in a private plane, and insiders from the report believe the 43-year-old star plans to use the incident as grounds for her receiving full custody.
