
LAGOS – Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari met for the first time the parents of 110 school girls who were abducted from their school three weeks ago believed to have been done by jihadist group Boko Haram.
VIDEO – President Buhari during the visit held a meeting with parents and teachers of the GGSTC Dapchi.
The President also met with community leaders at Dapchi.
President Buhari arrives the Government Girls Science and Technical College (GGSTC) in Dapchi, Yobe State on Wednesday.
Boko Haram is believed to be responsible for the attack in Yobe state.
Boko Haram was responsible for the 2014 abduction of more than 270 Chibok girls. The abduction caused global outrage and shined a big spotlight on the jihadist group.
President Buhari in a meeting with parents and teachers at the Government Girls Science and Technical College (GGSTC) in Dapchi, Yobe State on Wednesday.
A Tweet sent by his pubic relations team, said, “There will be no rest till the last girl, whether from Chibok and Dapchi, is released. The girls, like all our citizens, must enjoy unhindered freedom and pursue their legitimate aspirations,”
