Cape Town Spurs winger Abednego Mosiatlhaga is reportedly on the verge of leaving the Mother City side and joining Soweto giants Kazier Chiefs.
Mosiatlhaga, 26, who usually operates from the right-wing position, is believed to feel as if he has given everything he possibly could to the GladAfrica Championship side and that the time is now for him to step up from that level.
Although his deal is set to expire at the conclusion of this season, it is believed that the Cape Town-based club have an option to renew, which could mean Kaizer Chiefs would have to pay a transfer fee.
Mosiatlhaga has previously worked with current Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt, which is believed to be working in his favour. He is also of the impression that Chiefs are the perfect club at the perfect level for him to showcase his talents.
“He will add a lot of value at the club, he is a former junior international and has played for Bafana Bafana before. He is actually a good buy because he is still young, but has a lot of experience. He is a player that coach Gavin really wants to have in his squad and they worked together before,” said a source close to the story.
