CAPE TOWN- South Africa’s star track athlete Caster Semenya breezed into the 1 500m final at Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast in Australia on Monday.
Running in the semi-final Semenya finished in the time of 4:05.86, was the fasted qualifying time.
Semenya is a heavy favorite to win the gold in the final and make it a double for the 800m in which she specializes in.
The final for the 1 500m final is expected to be held at 2:04pm South African time on Tuesday.
