Cele condemns Gqeberha violence, promises arrests

Gqeberha – Police capacity will be increased in Gqeberha after Wednesday’s unrest that left vehicles and businesses torched.

This follows a visit by Police Minister, Bheki Cele, who condemned the violence and promised arrests.

According to police, the unrest stems from a road rage incident involving a taxi driver and a businessman.

The police minister said he will be roping in Home Affairs and SARS to weed out undocumented persons in Gqeberha.
