CENTURION – Lyttelton police have confirmed reports of a deadly shooting that took place at a Centurion taxi rank on Friday night. It is confirmed that two men were shot dead while another man sustained gunshot wounds in Centurion at the taxi rank on Friday evening.
The Lyttelton police in Centurion are investigating a double homicide.
Netcare 911 paramedics declared the two men dead on the scene and the third gunshot victim was taken to hospital for medical treatment. Details of his recovery or status have not yet been revealed.
Speaking on this – police spokesman Captain Dave Miller said forensic services were still busy on the scene to gather evidence.
