
JOHANNESBURG – The chamber of Mines have postponed court proceedings on reviewing the Mining Charter.
The presidency, the chamber, said on Sunday that they have agreed that the application which was suppose to heard on Monday will be postponed.
The presidency said, “The postponement serves to allow parties the space to engage and find an amicable solution.”
This comes after the State of the Nation Address on Friday, where president Cyril Ramaphosa had committed in intensifying discussion with all stakeholders so that a charter is drawn up that they all can agree with.
