JOHANNESBURG- Ed Sheeran fans around the country have flocked to get their tickets to see the superstar perform for the first time in South Africa. The ticket system online by Computicket left many of them completely frustrated, as their website crashed under the demand.
When tickets sales opened on Thursday morning and high ticket volumes were experienced and high technical issues being disgruntled, as Friday ticket sells did not get any easier for fans.
Fans took their frustration online and vented their anger at the delays.
According to TshiaLIVE who tried the booking process, they weren’t able to get past terms and conditions page before being place to the service’s main page.
How to do ecommerce wrong. .@Computicket builds a site that crashes on any major event. I'm just looping through where the 'bouncer' queue page throws me back onto the home page. #EdSheeran

@BigConcerts your ticketing partner @Computicket are flippen useless! I Can't move further than this with 5mins to go to complete my transaction! They aren't taking calls either. There must be a better way? #EdSheeran pic.twitter.com/2o33PYSPNf

Computicket tried to ensure those who visited their page for a little patience and with time they will get through.
We are currently experiencing high traffic https://t.co/JWH8YhxdN1 for the 1st Ed Sheeran show are limited, however there is still availability for the 2nd show. Please be patient and keep trying until you entered into the queuing system for your purchase becomes available .
