Nigeria equalised early in the second half, Maradona was becoming more anxious but leaped with delight with Rojo late winner.

BBC broadcaster Mark Chapman said Maradona’s plight was “sad.”
He wrote on Twitter; “Maradona was the greatest footballer of my youth,”
