Johannesburg – The price of oil is expected to surge.
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine is contributing to the already ballooning price of sunflower oil in South Africa.
The current supply pressures will also have an impact on the availability of the product.
Ukraine accounted for 40% of global exports of sunflower oil in 2020, while Russia accounted for 18%.
