Kimberly – The Department of Correctional Services is investigating the death of two inmates at Tswelopele Correctional Centre in Kimberly.
It is understood that three inmates attacked a prison official with padlocks.
When officials intervened, a scuffle broke out and three inmates were injured.
They were taken to an outside hospital, where two of them died.
The other prisoner is receiving treatment.
