
CAPE TOWN- Democratic Alliance Cape Town Mayor Patricia De Lille may have lost support from the DA caucus in Cape Town, she is still ready to fight to retain her position as mayor.
On Wednesday night majority of Democratic Alliance (DA’s) city caucus voted majority in favor to support a motion of no confidence De Lille.
De Lille she is expected to receive the request formally from the party, to provide any reasons on why she should keep her job.
She said last night vote was no surprise to her.

Seventy percent of the DA caucus voted in favor of the motion for De Lille to step down. The DA has denied that the recall clause is being unfairly used against her.
