Johannesburg – One South Africa Movement leader, Mmusi Maimane, said the amendment bill still favour political parties.
Maimane said the system can be proportional or fair but it can’t be both.
On Friday, the Constitutional court extended Parliament’s deadline to amend the Electoral Act to allow independent candidates to stand in all elections.
