Johannesburg – The African National Congress (ANC) in Nkangala Region is mourning the loss of Mayor of Emalahleni, Linah Malatji.
The mayor passed away in a car accident on Sunday night.
Malatjie’s husband, who was in the car, was also killed. Their car collided with another vehicle between KwaMhlanga and Emalahleni.
The ANC in the region says it will remember the mayor for her commitment as a public servant and struggle activist.
