Garden of Lights is a celebration of all things Christmas. The Emperors Palace gardens are transformed into a winter wonderland, light extravaganza and yuletide adventure.

Explore the Garden of lights and meet Christmas characters like Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, The Magical Fairy, Mr. Snowman, Santa’s Special Elves and the Garden Princess. The event also features the Enchanted Garden, the Mystic Castle, Magic Sweet Shop and Santa’s Workshop, as well as food stalls and festive fun activities for the whole family to get into the spirit.

Toro Ya Me Boat Cruise

Toro Ya Me Boat Cruise

Toro Ya Me Boat Cruise hosts an hour-long boat ride around Hartbeespoort on Saturdays and Sundays.

Bring along your picnic basket, drinks and braai favourites for a picnic at the dam from 8am to 6pm. Please note that entrance into Hartbeesport Dam is not covered by the boat cruise cost. Entrance to the Oewer Club is R80 per person and R50 per vehicle, payable in cash upon arrival at the entrance gate.

A Christmas Carol

Crewworks brings a classic holiday tradition to life through theatre.

Featuring Jason Ralph as Scrooge in Charles Dickens’ timeless tale of warmth and redemption. With an original score by Wessel Odendaal, animation by Naret Loots, and direction by Elizma Badenhorst.

Introducing several ghosts and characters from his past, present and future, the play takes guests on a journey from the old Scrooge’s tight-fisted, miserly ways, to the new Scrooge, spreading goodwill and cheer through his generous spirit.
