Fifth victim after Grand Canyon helicopter crash dies

Multiple dead after a helicopter crash in the Grand Canyon.

LAS VEGAS- Nevada authorities have said that a British tourist who survived a  helicopter crash on the 10th of February, has died of her injuries, bringing the total number dead to five.

John Fudenberg a Clark County coroner has confirmed that Ellie Millard a 29 year old has died of the injuries she sustained from the crash.

Millard had been in critical condition since the 10 of February when the crash happened. Her husband died last week from injuries suffered in the same crash.

The couple had been on their honeymoon with a group of fellow Britons, who were visiting Las Vegas.

The passengers went on the helicopter to sight-see the best of the Grand Canyon when the plan crashed.

The family released a statement, “It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of our daughter Eleanor Udall (nee Milward) as a result of the injuries she sustained in the Grand Canyon helicopter crash on February 10, 2018.

“The family are exceedingly grateful for everything done by rescue services and volunteers in the Canyon, and throughout the last two weeks by the exceptional staff at UMC.”

Three people died the day the plane crashed, two people are still in hospital with critical conditions.
