PARIS- According to Phillip Lamboley Manchester United winger Anthony Martial wants to leave the club after contract talks stalled.

The 22 year old has one year left on his contract and negotiations for a new contract have remained stagnant the past couple months.

Lamboley told French¬† sport outlet RMC Sport, “After thinking about all the possibilities and scenarios, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United,”

“I think that when Manchester United, which is the most powerful club in the world … do not find an agreement in eight months of negotiations, it is because they do not really want to make him an important member of the team.”

He did admit that United have the final say on the matter, “… Important to remember that he is under contract, that Manchester United will have the last word and that we will respect the decision of the club.”

Martial had an okay season for united last season, he made 18 Premier league starts for the club and was not picked for the French World Cup squad.
