
Some South Africans feel they pay too much for fuel, and the recent petrol hike of 95c per litre was a surprised too many and it is expected another increase at the end of this month.
This means motorist will pay up to R16 per litre.
Globalpetrol.com has complied a list of the highest fuel around the world. Places in the world such as Iceland, $2.13 per litre equates to R26.86 for a litre of petrol, while motorists in China pay $2.09 per litre for their fuel.
Important to note economic factors play huge role in the price of fuel and affordability, a country such as Iceland has a much better economy and higher average salaries compared to South Africa.
