Hailstorm leaves many Seshego residents homeless

Johannesburg – A hailstorm has left many Seshego residents in Polokwane homeless.

The local municipality has availed the town hall to provide temporary shelter to displaced families.

The freak weather saw golf-ball-sized hail smashing through roofs, car windows and infrastructure in the area.

A disaster management team will assess the damage on Thursday.

Electricity has been  switched on in most areas except for Luthuli Park, where roofs are still hanging from electrical lines.
