Tehran- Tensions between Iran and Israel have risen as Hossein Salami, deputy commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has threatened that they are ready to defend Palestine, they just waiting an order by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
“Hezbollah has 100,000 missiles that are ready to hit Israel to liberate the occupied Palestinian territories if the Zionist regime repeats its past mistakes.”
“Today, the grounds for the annihilation and collapse of the Zionist regime are [present] more than ever.” Warning that if Israel makes any “wrong move” it possible come under attack.
A senior adviser to the IRGC’s elite Quds Force, Ahmad Karimpour, has said that Iran could destroy Israel in a matter of “less than eight minutes”.
Iran policy towards Israel is not to strike first and doing so would be suicidal as Israel has an allie in the United States and political disaster as the ruling government tries to maintain power.
A 29 year old PHD student Kazem said, “I would like to see a regime change in Iran, but I want Iran, ruled by any government even the current clergies, to be stronger than any country in the region including Israel. Iran should be the most powerful nation in the region militarily, technologically and economically as it was under Shah era or thousands of years of the Persian empire”.
