Is President Robert Mugabe Too Old to Run the Country at the Age of 93 years?

HARARE – It was reported that a Zimbabwean minister said the ruling party Zanu-PF, will not have anyone mock the President or pass comments of him too old to run the country.


This includes the country’s ex-freedom fighters. The ruling part with its president, Robert Mugabe says he is fit enough to run the country. The president has also said that his doctors said his organs are in great condition.



Minister  Mutinhiri says he is happy with the way the president is ruling the country and that evidence of .this can be seen in what the president is doing for the country. The president who has ruled the country since its independent in 1980 is reported to have over the years presided over a regime that was accused of gross human rights abuse and election fraud.


Minister Mutinhiri acknowledges that the president has made mistakes but when he compares the mistakes to the good Robert Mugabe has done, he points out  that the mistake are less.


It is reported that preparations for the Zanu-PF Extra Ordinary Conference are underway where the ruling party will be expected to rubber stamp its nomination of Robert Mugabe is soon to be 94 years, as its sole candidate in the forthcoming elections.
