Cape Town – The Absa Premiership promotion playoffs have been thrown into doubt after Judge Denis Fisher ruled in favour of Ajax Cape Town regarding the Tendai Ndoro eligibility matter.
The previous ruling by SAFA Arbitrator William Mokhari of Ajax being docked points and resulted in the team being relegated, this decision has been overruled.
The decision now lies on the FIFA Player Status Committee will no make the final ruling.
Ajax was unbelievably relegated after the ruling by SAFA that said the club broke the rules and relegation, being found guilty for playing ineligible Ndoro.
Their punishment included being fortified three matches against Platinum Stars, Polokwane City and SuperSport United – by a scoreline of 3-0. This led to a seven point deduction and them being eventually relegated.
