Rapper Kanye West has been suspended from social media platform Instagram.
The 44-year-old is facing the consequences following his recent utterances and activity on the platform.
According to TMZ, who spoke to Meta spokesperson, West’s recent posts violated Instagram’s policies on hate speech, harassment and bullying.
Because of this, his account has been suspended for 24 hours.
This means he won’t be able to post, comment, send DMs, among other things.
West has had a very public ongoing battle with his ex, Kim Kardashian. He has also been sharing videos of his feelings on social media, detailing instances where he sometimes doesn’t get allowed to see his children.
He has also been accused of using racial slurs about The Daily Show host Trevor Noah, has constantly attacked Pete Davidson (Kim’s new boyfriend), amongst other things.
Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February 2021 after seven years of marriage to West.
Following their separation West has been seen with model Irina Shayk, Instagram model Vinetria, 22 and actress Julia Fox, 33 and now Kim lookalike Chaney Jones, 24.
The former couple shares four children.
