KATE SPADE’S DEATH CONFIRMED AS SUICIDE

NEW YORK- The medical examiner in the New York City has confirmed that Kate Spade death was a suicide.

The fashion designer whose birth name is Katherine Brosnahan – was tragically found dead by her housekeeper at her Park Avenue apartment on Tuesday at the age of 55.

The medical examiner office released information stated that Kate took her own life.

Kate husband and business partner for 24 years  Andy Spade said in a statement that Kate had her own “personal demons” she was trying to beat, which included her ongoing battle with bipolar.

Andy has a 13-year-old daughter Frances with Kate and said, “Kate suffered from depression and anxiety for many years. She was actively seeking help and working closely with her doctors to treat her disease, one that takes far too many lives. We were in touch with her the night before and she sounded happy. There was no indication and no warning that she would do this. It was a complete shock. And it clearly wasn’t her. There were personal demons she was battling.”

He also confirmed that he and Kate had been living separately for 10 months before her passing but the duo were still close and had “never even discussed divorce” as they still “loved each other very much”.
