Johannesburg – Two suspects ate scheduled to appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday in connection with a mass shooting in the area.
Five people were shot dead at New Monwabisi Park in March.
The suspects, aged 25 and 28, have been charged with murder.
An unlicensed firearm, believed to be the murder weapon, was found when police apprehended the 28-year-old suspect.
Three people have now been arrested for the shooting.
34-year-old Madoda Zwayi appeared in court in April facing murder charges. This incident is one of three mass shootings in Khayelitsha this year alone.
