JOHANNESBURG- Eskom executive Matshela Koko has resigned with immediate effect from Eskom and his directorship of Rotek.
He has said the decision is in the best interests for him and his family to resign and that he has said his done no wrong doing.
Koko was facing mounting pressure to do so after Anjoi Singh handed his resignation after then Deputy president Ramaphosa wanted anyone from the Eskom board facing any corruption and fraud chargers removed.
Koko is in a world of worry as he also faces new chargers from Eskom that accuse him of deliberately lying to Parliament’s inquiry into Eskom.
