Kurt Cobain death scene photos to stay sealed

LOS ANGELES- Photos from the scene of Kurt Cobain‘s suicide in 1994 will remain sealed a US court has decided.

A journalist who spent 23 years investigating the Nirvana singer’s death had tried to have them released to the public.

Richard Lee in 2014, sued the city of Seattle to try and release the photos,  according to court documents, the pictures show “Kurt Cobain’s body as it lay in the family residence after he was shot in the head.”

Lee believes Kurt was killed as a result of a government conspiracy, Kurt Cobain’s death was ruled as a suicide.

He lost his action in 2015, but appealed last year.

Courtney Love singer and actress who is Kurt’s widow, in 2016 accused Lee of exploiting his death, she claimed he had “stalked and harassed me, my family, and my friends for many, many years.”

TMZ is reporting that Kurt’s acoustic guitar, which he famously played on Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged (pictured below) is to go to the ex-husband of his daughter Frances Bean Cobain.

She however retain their house in Los Angeles.
