
JOHANNESBURG- Statistics South Africa, Stats SA has announced that in December consumer inflation has slowed to 4.4% year-on-year for January from 4.7%.
On a month to month basis inflation from 0.5% in December to 0,3% in January.
The main inflation excludes the prices of food, non-alcoholic beverages, petrol and energy and fell to 4.1% year-on-year in January from 4.2% in December.
