JOHANNESBURG- National Police Commissioner General Khehla Sitole has in a radio interview that SAPS’s latest strategy aims to flush out corrupt police members and deal with criminals head-on.
Sithole made the claims on 702 talk radio station where the police commissioner also said, less than 5% of the police are corrupt.
He said, ““I’ve got a strength of 192,000 and it’s only less than 5% of those that are contaminated.”
Working with Police Minister Bheki Cele they announced a plan to tackle violent crime across South Africa.
