
South African chef, media personality and former ballet dancer, Lorna Maseko has announced her return back to the small screens with her new show that will be aired on BBC Africa.
The exciting new show is called Homegrown Tastes South Africa, and it sees Maseko crisscrossing the country to find some of the most delicious cuisines Mzansi has to offer.
In the 10 episodes series, Maseko will be joined by a special celebrity guest who comes together with chefs and personalities to elegantly create some of South Africa’s unique signature dishes.
Maseko took to social media to make the big reveal and excitedly urged all her fans to make a date to watch all the action.
“So excited to announce my new show on @bbcstudiosafrica #HomegrownTastesSA airing Wednesdays a 20:00 on DSTV channel 174. The show kicks off on the 23rd March – hope you’ll be watching and tuning in with me – can’t wait for you guys to see it!!” wrote Lorna.

She also shared a snippet of the show on her Twitter page and wrote ‘This is a taste of home… love it!!!’.
