Mamelodi Sundowns will come face-to-face with former coach Pitso Mosimane in the group stages of the 2021/22 CAF Champions League.
Following the draw at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt on Tuesday, Mamelodi Sundowns and reigning champions Al Ahly were both drawn in Group A.
Mosimane is now coach for Al Ahly.
The other two sides in the group are Sudan outfits Al-Hilal FC and Al-Merrikh SC.
Meanwhile, AmaZulu were drawn in Group B alongside Morocco’s Raja Casablanca, Guinea’s Horoya FC and ES Setif of Algeria.
Only the group winners and runners-up will qualify for quarter-finals.
