OHIO- Yes you about to read this right… A pig was take into custody over the weekend after it was accused of stalking a human.
The North Ridgeville Police Department said on early Saturday morning they had received a call from a man who said he was being followed by a pig and called the police because he had no idea what to do about it.
The department released a statement on Facebook, where they said, “Night shift responded to the obviously drunk guy walking home from the bar at 5:26 in the morning. He was at least drunk enough to call the police on himself while hallucinating.”
When the police arrived at the scene they found a sober man walking from the Amtrak station and behind him was his four-legged stalker in tow.
News 5 Cleveland reported the man, Ryan Singley said the pig was not threatening, friendly and acted like a dog.
He said, “It was staying close to me, rubbing against my legs, and was trying to climb up my legs to get me to pet her.”
Officers found the situation humorous and wrangled the pig into their cruiser and transported it to their dog kennels.
The pig was returned to its owner.
