Meghan Markle baptised in a private ceremony

CAPE TOWN-  According to reports Meghan Markle was officially baptized into Church of England on Tuesday evening.

Daily Mail reports that the former Suits actress was bapitsed in an intimate 45 minute ceremony with a close friend and family.

Her baptism was followed by her confirmation, it means that Meghan will now be able to join 33-year-old Prince Harry at Holy Communion.

The service was private, it was presided over Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby at the Chapel Royal on the Kensington Palace grounds.

Her fiancee Prince Harry was by her side throughout the entire ceremony.

In attendance was Harry’s father Prince Charles and his wife Duchess of Cornwall Camilla Parker Bowles and one of Meghan’s closets friend.

Harry’s brother prince William and Kate Middleton did not attend.

The wedding will take place on May 19 2018 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, with over 2000 public guests invited to the wedding.

Keningston Palace has declined to comment on the reports that Meghan who was a Protestant was baptized on Tuesday before she weds Prince Harry.
