
Johannesburg – Pitso Mosimane has been announced as the head coach of Egyptian soccer giant, Al Ahly.
The announcement was made on the club’s Twitter account on Thursday.
Mosimane made the announcement of his departure from Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday after almost eight years at the club.
‘Jingles’ led Sundowns to a domestic treble last season winning the Absa Premiership, Telkom Knockout and Nedbank Cup, all in a single campaign.
Mosimane ends his almost eight-year tenure at the Brazilians having led the club to continental success, winning the CAF Champiogns League in 2016.
