Durban – Several organisations are calling on police to drop all charges against uMthwalume activist, Hlengiwe Gasa.
Gasa is appearing in court today.
This follows her arrest for leading a march with about a hundred women protesting the killing of women and children in the area.

Meanwhile the Abahlali baseMjondolo Women’s League says it’s also standing in solidarity with Gasa.
