Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe says he won’t be forced out of the office.
According to News24 President Mugabe said he won’t leave the office despite the cash and fuel shortages that have hit his country.
Speaking at the funeral of one of his party members, the 93 year old statesman said that the news of him leaving office was created by unnamed senior officials who want him out of the office.
President Mugabe then vowed that he will not leave the office but will remain President.
Mugabe also said that he will not leave the office because he is there to represent the people who elected him and will continue occupying the presidential seat.
But the former ZANUPF provincial chairperson said Mugabe should not focus on remaining in the office, but he should focus on the issues he was elected to deal with.
