Johannesburg – The 28-year-old Joburg woman who was found hanging in Roodepoort will be laid to rest today. The body of Tshegofatso Pule was found on Monday hanging from a tree near Florida Lake with stab wounds.
Pule’s murder has sparked outrage and again thrust the issue of gender-based violence in the spotlight.
Pule, who was eight months pregnant, was last seen being walked by her boyfriend to a car that she left in.
Meanwhile, women dressed in black took to the streets of Soweto to commemorate her life and speak against gender-based violence.
Pule’s funeral service will be held at her home in Meadowlands, Soweto
